Long covid peer support programme

What is the Long Covid Peer Support Programme?

It is a  bespoke course designed to help you manage your Covid symptoms more effectively. Learn to listen to your body and slow down and accept your recovery journey. 

The course is filled with guided videos, relaxation and breathing techniques to help with stress and anxiety and relaxing  audios to help your body systems to recover at their own pace. You can  study at home with additional peer support from me and a group of like minded people through weekly calls.


if you’ve had long-term Covid (or as it’s been dubbed ‘long Covid’), like me, you’ll know about the overwhelming tiredness, the headaches, lack of sleep, panic attacks and many other symptoms that can seem unexpected that come with this virus. It isn’t a 2 week experience for many.


This peer support programme is designed to help you share your experiences with others who have gone through a similar experience . The bespoke audios  are in 6 modules to assist you to bring your awareness into your body systems so you can respond to what  your body needs. This allows you to accept the  pace that is right for you.


I’ve experienced the positive effects from taking this programme, as have others, which is why I honed and refined it to share the benefits and help you.

My Story of tacking the symptoms

I contracted the Covid-19 virus in March of this year.            


Although I ‘recovered’ from the initial illness, I was left with many symptoms that affected me enormously. For someone who is always on the go...

who is it for?

The Programme is for you if you’ve had Coronavirus and are experiencing symptoms that are limiting what you can do. 


You may not be able to work or go out shopping as you used to. You may struggle to climb stairs or do general jobs around the house.


It’s not a quick fix – it’s not intended to be – but it’s intended to give you relief from the symptoms you’re experiencing, and give you a sense of control. 


It’s important to know that this has not been designed for people who have been hospitalised with the virus, or who have severe symptoms. Please always talk to your doctor if your symptoms are this serious.

What can I expect?

Additional Information

The Long Covid Peer Support Programme has 6 modules that specifically focus on the body systems that are affected by Covid -19.  You should be able to cover all this material in 6-8 weeks and start to feel better.  Each module includes a video and audio recording to assist you with your recovery. You can ask me any questions in the Facebook group and I will be delivering weekly zoom peer calls for support and encouragement to keep you on track throughput the course.. Everyone is different, so expect your experience to be different to others and recovery at  different rates

After the course

 By now you will start to feel an improvement and so glad you took the time and investment in this porgramme. On the  last cohort participants started feeling better. We have set up a private meditation group. You will be invited to this private membership group at the end of the course. 

Each body system has a role and function, and they very much inter-relate.

My credentials

Alongside having experienced Covid 19, and knowing first-hand how it side-swipes you, your life and the ‘normal’ you, I have various other qualifications.


In my 20 years of experience in work, I’ve spent five years designing and running meditation groups, I’ve also been a therapist and worked in education for adult health and social care.


I set up the CIC, Brain Health Breakthrough, in 2018 and work as tirelessly as I can to help people who’ve had a brain injury enjoy life. Sometimes that’s with work experience, sometimes that’s coping with the impact a brain injury has.


I extended this work to help unpaid carers as they also experience issues that meditation can successfully treat. During this time I contracted Covid, and have been investigating how to manage this ever since; honing the meditations and approach to create the 8 week course you see here.
