training, support and therapy help you thrive
Our roots are supporting people with brain injuries - our therapeutic approach worked for unpaid carers, individuals affected by ‘Long Covid’ and people who statutory support and traditional methods have failed.
Our mission is to empower people to develop coping mechanisms through wellbeing support from a theoretical and practical perspective. Enabling people from multiple backgrounds, with multiple needs to find their place and purpose, build emotional resilience, connect to their community, and support services.
We believe health is holistic and understand that individual emotional, physical, social, and spiritual needs must be met to actualise full health and potential. We work closely with clients/partners, ensuring they are heard, to understand their situations and needs.
“To deliver high-quality training, one to one support and unique, tailored interventions to reduce isolation, improve mental health and wellbeing."
The mission of the organisation is to provide social and emotional support for individuals with brain injury experience, unpaid carers and individuals in the community who need specialist intervention to assist with health and wellbeing.
. As a progressive and innovative organisation Brain Health Breakthrough believes health is holistic and understands that each person's emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs must to be met in order for them to actualise their full health and potential.
We are very grateful to the lottery fund for agreeing to support our work in these challenging times of COVID-19. We are acutely aware of the impact of this pandemic on those we look to support, especially in the area of mental health and wellbeing. All training and support will be conducted online until such time as we can meet in person again.
Given members of the delivery team have had Long COVID and are now living with side effects and ongoing symptoms, they have been able to create an innovative and needs led group to respond to their existing and new communities who have been affected by Long COVID.
