About Brain Health Breakthrough CIC

Established in 2018, Brain Health Breakthrough CIC is a not-for-profit organization led by experts with lived experience, dedicated to supporting individuals facing complex health challenges and disabilities. We focus on often misunderstood conditions such as Long COVID, ME/CFS, and the impacts of brain injuries or energy-limiting illnesses.

Our peer support groups, counseling services, wellbeing activities, and community projects serve as a vital lifeline for hundreds of individuals across Lancashire and beyond.

Our mission revolves around building stronger, more connected communities by reducing isolation, encouraging active participation in local life, and promoting mental health and overall wellbeing. Additionally, we empower individuals to advocate for their rights, ensuring they are seen and heard by health professionals, family members, employers, and broader networks. At the core of our organization are our values: Innovation, Trust, and Empowerment.

"A safe space for connection, understanding, & belonging."
