“A world where ordinary people have the choice to thrive.”
We carry out activities which benefit the community and in particular, but not limited to, those with brain injury experience and other vulnerable groups within the community who face long-term illness, e.g. long-COVID. Our aim is to reduce isolation and improve mental health and wellbeing through support services.
Our services are supported by our bespoke peer support model which puts people who are ‘Experts with Lived Experience’ at the heart of service design. Providing social and emotional support for people in Lancashire from multiple backgrounds, with multiple needs, enabling participants to increase their mental health and emotional resilience, have a choice to thrive, through developing coping strategies, and to foster social connections that impact their wider community.
We believe in empowering individuals with a holistic, innovative approach and we understand that each person's emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs must be met in order for them to actualise their full health and potential.
We work closely with clients and partners, ensuring they are fully listened to, in order to understand their unique situations and needs. We believe that the strongest relationships are built through trust.
We believe that people need to feel empowered in order to make the choice to thrive. We offer a range of programmes that are innovative and accessible to facilitate people to reach their full potential.
