To restore hope and aspiration.
Brain Health Breakthrough CIC was established in 2018 and is an expert by experience-led organisation. Since 2019, we have supported hundreds of individuals with long-term invisible disabilities who are disadvantaged by health inequalities, including those experiencing the impacts of brain injury and energy-limiting conditions such as Long COVID and ME/CFS.
We deliver high-quality training and practical peer support, providing a safe space where individuals can turn and feel genuinely understood through tailored education, training, and one-to-one support.
We aim to bring communities together by building strong relationships, reducing social isolation, and encouraging individuals to participate actively in their wider communities.
Karen and her team are on a mission to change the narrative around invisible disabilities. Their goal is to reshape how people and organisations perceive fluctuating illnesses and energy-limiting conditions, fostering a more inclusive and understanding environment.
We support our community in promoting positive choices and a sense of hope and optimism for the future.
We stand by individuals facing chronic health challenges, such as brain injury, Long Covid, and ME/CFS. Our community members are not just recipients of support, but also integral advocates for their own needs. They play a crucial role in our planning and delivery, and we are deeply committed to supporting them in advocating for their needs to employers, health professionals, friends, and family.
