Established in 2018, Brain Health Breakthrough CIC is a not-for-profit, expert-by-experience-led grass roots organisation supporting people with complex health and disabilities often misunderstood conditions such as Long COVID, ME/CFS, and the effects of Brain injury or energy-limiting illnesses.
Our peer support groups, counselling, wellbeing activities, and community projects provide a vital lifeline for hundreds of people across Lancashire and beyond.
Our mission is to build stronger, more connected communities by reducing isolation, encouraging participation in local life, and promoting mental health and wellbeing. We also empower people to advocate for their rights—ensuring they are seen and heard by health professionals, families, employers, and wider networks. At the heart of our work are our values: Innovation, Trust, and Empowerment.
