    Reignite Hope

About Brain Health Breakthrough CIC

Established in 2018, Brain Health Breakthrough CIC is an expert-by-experience-led organisation dedicated to supporting individuals living with long-term invisible illnesses and energy-limiting conditions — including the impacts of brain injury, Long COVID, and ME/CFS.

Since 2019, we’ve supported hundreds of people affected by health inequalities through:

  • Specialist training for organisations and communities
  • Tailored peer support delivered online, face-to-face, and through one-to-one guidance
  • Safe, inclusive spaces where people feel heard, understood, and empowered

Our mission is to build stronger, more connected communities by:

  • Reducing social isolation

  • Encouraging active participation in local life

  • Promoting hope, resilience, and positive choices for the future

At Brain Health Breakthrough, we believe in the power of lived experience — and in supporting individuals to transform adversity into renewed purpose and wellbeing.

Our Community

At Brain Health Breakthrough CIC, we stand alongside individuals navigating chronic health challenges and often marginalised by society — including those living with brain injury, Long Covid, and ME/CFS.

Our community members are not simply recipients of support; they are active advocates for their own needs and lived experiences. They play a vital role in shaping our programmes, planning, and delivery.

We are deeply committed to empowering them to speak up — whether with employers, health professionals, friends, or family — and to ensure their voices are heard, respected, and represented.
